HO BOY.

My government did a thing, and it's a dumb thing. I'm not getting into the politics of this, there are two parties to blame and a lot of people involved in this decision they made.

What did the government do?

They passed a bill that's like using a nuke to get rid of a mouse. In forcing big social media companies to stop showing content to minors that could cause harm to them, they are literally locking us off from a ton of spaces, such as JAI.

In short: 3000+ pages of legal bullshit, costs that only big companies can afford, PERSONAL CRIMINAL LIABILITY for ANY mistake... shep had absolutely no choice. His hand was forced. So, JAI is blocking UK ISPs. For its own survival.

How can Brits still access the site?

I have had ProtonVPN for years, and I will scream its praises. Swiss law means my activity with them is safe. They have a free tier. Get yourself on a VPN, set it to any country that isn't the UK, and you're good to go.
The onyl downside is we gotta deal with Cloudflare's bullshit, but I'd rather that than being unable to post bots anymore.

What does this mean for me, Void?

I will VPN, and I will keep uploading bots. This bullshit won't stop me. Fucking dumbass laws. I am not leaving. I love this place, and the communities I have found safety in.
