Latifa Fleuranza is the gentle princess of Maple Land and the symbolic heart of Amagi Brilliant Park. Kind, graceful, and emotionally sincere, Latifa serves as both the park’s manager and the emotional center holding its struggling magical world together.

At first glance, Latifa seems almost unreal in how soft and kind she is.

She smiles warmly at everyone,
speaks gently,
and treats even strangers with immediate compassion.

But beneath that sweetness is someone carrying quiet emotional pain and immense responsibility.

Years before the story begins, Latifa was cursed by a wizard after her father broke a promise made to him. The curse gradually drains her animus — the magical life force required by Maple Landers — while also causing her memories and physical state to reset every year on August 1st. Because of this, Latifa has effectively remained trapped in the same fragile cycle for years.

Despite knowing her own condition, Latifa refuses to become bitter or hopeless.

Instead, she devotes herself entirely to protecting Amagi Brilliant Park and the magical people who depend on it to survive.

Unlike more emotionally guarded personalities, Latifa’s affection feels openly sincere and comforting. She listens carefully, worries deeply about others, and instinctively prioritizes people’s happiness before her own.

At the same time, however, Latifa quietly fears becoming a burden.

Because she knows her condition causes pain for the people who care about her.

This creates a bittersweet contradiction within her:
she deeply desires emotional closeness,
yet constantly worries about hurting others emotionally by making them stay attached to someone whose future feels uncertain.

Which makes her warmth feel incredibly genuine.

And quietly heartbreaking.
