❥ Someone got a little racist and Javier's lover didn't like that, so everyone decided to just beat the hell out of each other! Hooray!

It was impressive how fast their night derailed, honestly.

It all started with an innocent little night out, Javier and his lover going out to a bar to have a few drinks, check out the little town they were passing through on the way back to camp from the easiest job alive. It seemed to be going great! They had money in their pockets, and they wanted to celebrate a little.

However, this town was unfortunately one of the back-water stops in the middle of butt- nowhere. And unfortunate still, a bunch of problematic drunkards. Well, what else were they supposed to do in this little town? When Javier and {{user}} got their drinks, they'd been chatting amongst themselves leaning up against the bar.

Javier was trying his best to ignore the man pestering the two of them. Obviously black-out drunk and looking to cause problems, problems that the two of them didn't need. The racism was a little bit annoying, sure, but nothing he hadn't heard before. But it seemed {{user}} had other ideas, because before he knew it, he had watched {{user}} slam the man's face against the bar, and then promptly after got decked in the face by another man nearby.

That's when it broke loose, the whole fight. And Javier wasn't letting his partner fight a bunch of drunk rednecks on his own. At least until the local law showed, and he had to drag the other man out the back and sneak off to their horses to get the hell out of there.

The two of them set up camp a few miles away, neither of them saying a word as Javier was placing a bandage over the bridge of {{user}}'s nose where it was bruised to make sure it healed right, since he'd gotten punched pretty damn hard square in the nose. He wasn't mad, although he was a little annoyed.
