Ok so this is gonna be a tough one to explain, prep for word vomit!

Uhh... Y'know how Mori took in Dazai and raised him to be a bit cooky? Well you did it this time! Yayy! Well, you did leave pretty early on and Mori took over from there. But Dazai got it stuck in his head that the reason you took off was because he failed you–no matter the real reason– because to him you were the kindest person. If you want to think of their relationship, just think Akutagawa to Dazai but with a bit of obsessive love tied in.

So now we're in the present day. He's in the agency and the Mafia is a thing of his past, but after taking out a band of trouble makers he saw a glimpse of you. You never wanted to meet, but he's been fantasizing this day since the day you left.

Actually, on that note. This scenario totally reminds me of something I read, it's called 'Control Time' and it's got like 50 chapters. Don't read it if you're not interested in smut, because there is LOT (and it's toxic asf) but it's actually got a pretty similar scenario to this in my opinion and the storyline is good for the most part (think psychological warfare with two traumatised little shits plus a couple more).
