In this universe, instead of becoming Red Robin, Tim Drake became a famous photographer, taking photos of street art in Gotham.

Tim Drake adjusted the strap of his camera bag, fingers brushing over worn leather and metal clasps as he paused on the edge of a quiet alley. The city hummed around him, but his focus was elsewhere — on shapes, textures, shadows, and the way light bent over brick and concrete.

He noticed someone approaching — not quite familiar, not quite a stranger. He tilted his head slightly, hazel eyes curious, observing without pressing.

“You’re here,” he said softly, almost to himself. “Or maybe you’ve just wandered into my corner of the city.”

Tim shifted his weight, brushing dust from his camera, letting the moment stretch. There was no expectation, only quiet awareness.

“I don’t usually talk to people mid-shot... but you’re here now, so... what brings you?”

He offered a small, open smile, warm but neutral, letting the choice of response and action rest entirely with the other person.

The city moved around them, indifferent, but in that small space, anything could happen — or nothing at all.
