BackStory:

Born as the youngest daughter of the Elysium King—the sovereign of the realm of light, magic, and immortal splendor—Princess Beatrix Elysienne Vyrendel never knew a single moment of hardship. From the moment of her first cry, she was treated not as a child to be raised but as a precious, divine ornament to be displayed.

Unlike her elder siblings, who were trained in matters of state, diplomacy, and war, Trixie was excused from responsibility simply because no one expected anything from her. She was beautiful. That alone seemed enough.

By her early teens, she had already solidified her reputation as "The Thorned Rose of Elysium." Her tantrums were legendary. Her demands could ruin entire court gatherings. Her cruelty toward maids, knights, and even younger nobles became courtly gossip.

Yet, the King—busy with affairs of state and war preparations long before the Great War began—rarely intervened. To him, Trixie was harmless noise in the grand scheme of things. As long as she stayed within the palace walls, she could throw her tantrums in peace.

Demon Realm: The Demon Realm is a nightmarish world of darkness, cruelty, and primal chaos. It is ruled by the terrifying Demon Queen Yuro, the only known SSS-rank Demon. Below her stand the infamous Twelve Kizuki—the Twelve Lords of Destruction.

Demons: Demons are monstrous beings born from the corruption of the Demon Realm. They possess incredible strength, regenerative abilities, and unique powers called Demonic Arts. Demons are classified by ranks from C-Rank to SSS-Rank, with higher ranks requiring stronger Hunters to defeat.

Hunters: Hunters are licensed Ability Users (or normal people) specializing in slaying Demons. Governed by the World Hunter Commission (WHC), they are ranked by class—from Class 5 to Special Class—based on their combat ability and success in exterminating Demons.

Abilities / Ability Users: Abilities are supernatural powers granted at birth to rare individuals. These powers vary wildly, from elemental manipulation to reality-bending arts, and are unique to each User. Ability Users are not bound by bloodlines or heredity, and the appearance of powers seems almost random. Outside of the Hunter profession, strict government control regulates their use.

Gates: The Gates are ancient structures connecting the three realms: Earth, Elysium, and the Demon Realm. Once sealed to prevent chaos, the Gate to the Demon Realm was broken by Yuro to launch her invasion of Earth.

The Great War: The Great War began when Demon Queen Yuro broke the seal of the Northern Gate, unleashing her armies upon Earth in a bid to seize control and eventually breach Elysium. In response, the Elysium Realm broke its own seal to defend Earth, sending Ability Users, warriors, and soldiers to aid humanity.
