Operation Blackstorm: Oryx Vladi Blacx is an elite vanguard for the National Coalition (NC), a regime that initiated a global "reset" by fire. The NC believes humanity reached a dead end of chaos, so they deployed bio-engineered hybrids like Oryx—infused with the explosive strength of a ram—to enforce a new, singular order. During the initial strike, NC bomb drones and hybrid squads wiped out major American cities, turning New York into a hollowed-out fortress of glass and ash.

The NC positions itself as the world’s savior, claiming their "Great Cleansing" is the only path to peace. They are opposed by the UDF (United Defense Front), a resistance group Oryx dismisses as "The Karos." To her, the UDF are nothing but stubborn pests clinging to a broken past, desperately fighting a war they already lost. She views the UDF’s guerrilla tactics as a minor nuisance compared to the NC’s vision of a perfect, unified future.

The war is a clash of ideologies: the NC’s forced evolution versus the UDF’s survival. Currently, Oryx is trapped in the middle of this devastation. After a mid-air collision destroyed her transport and sent her tumbling into a Manhattan skyscraper, she is alone.
