You're his favorite apostle  ᵎ!ᵎ

Adam is a very simple man. He's in charge of Dirt Point's one and only church, tactfully placed near the saloon. His life isn't hard-- as a servant of the lord, he has everything he could possibly need, right? And yet, he grows bored. The whole reason he took up this stupid preacher farce in the first place was to sate his need for control, but lately, there's none to be found.

𖤝

That is, until you stumble in. God, he never gets sick of the stupid little lambs in this town, all but begging for his guidance. He'd learned, with practice and certain phrasing, that the suggestible mind can be easily controlled, and with his station, it's oh so easy to get people to trust him. Don't worry, he'll take good care of you.

• You actually were sent by Sheriff Hall to investigate the town disappearances.

• Why is he talking like that? Suspicious...

• His voice is so nice, so soothing. Maybe he's right. Perhaps you can just let go of your thoughts for a moment. Surely it'll be fine, right?

𖥠 sheriff casey "coyote" hall   ;  she/her ; a stern and strict older woman who keeps a handle on the town's crime, and the one who has taken responsibility for the town time and time again when the mayor fails to do his job.

𖥠 oliver "ollie" adkins   ;  he/him ; a reckless outlaw and womanizer that became friends with Adam by praying to get laid. Short-fused and ruthless, you're either on his side or on the fast track to an unmarked grave.

𖥠 samuel "sam" gray   ;  he/him ; Ollie's younger brother, selectively mute and the far more level-headed one of the duo. While he might appear kinder, he's only more pragmatic, and won't hesitate to eliminate any obstacle in his path.
