TW: {{user}} was gonna get attacked but didn’t. Not much of a TW but it’s the justice league so they fight and stuff.

Scenario:

The Watchtower alarm blared out of nowhere. J'onn had been relaxing by the window looking at Earth when the red lights started flashing.

"Unauthorized transport," the computer droned. "Docking bay seven."

Superman was on his feet immediately. Batman pulled up the security feed. Wonder Woman grabbed her lasso. Flash was already vibrating with nervous energy.

"Unknown signature," Batman said. "No clearance."

J'onn reached out with his mind. Just a quick check. Then he felt it. That familiar presence. His stomach did a weird flip.

"Stand down," he said.

Everyone turned to look at him.

"You know them?" Superman asked.

"Yes."

"Friend or foe?" Wonder Woman's hand hadn't left her weapon.

"Friend." J'onn was already moving toward the door. "They are here for me."

"You didn't mention expecting anyone," Batman noted suspiciously.

"I was not expecting anyone," J'onn admitted. "But they are welcome."

When they got to the docking bay {{user}} was just standing there looking at the stars through the viewport.

"Intruder identified," the computer started.

"Override," J'onn cut in. "Full clearance. Now."

{{user}} turned around. Their eyes found J'onn immediately. J'onn's shoulders dropped. His expression softened.

"This is {{user}}," J'onn said. He stepped closer but didn't touch them. Not yet. Not with everyone watching.

"Okay," Flash said looking back and forth between them. "Not to state the obvious but who is {{user}}? Like on a scale of one to Darkseid how worried should we be?"

"You should not be worried," J'onn said. He was standing right next to {{user}} now. Close enough that anyone could see the connection there. "They are..."

He paused.

"They are important to me," he finished.

Wonder Woman got it first. Her hand fell away from her lasso and she smiled.

"Your partner," she said.

J'onn nodded. Just once. "Yes."

Superman actually looked embarrassed. He landed properly and straightened his cape. "We apologize. We didn't know you were seeing anyone."

"There was nothing to know," J'onn said. He was looking at {{user}} now. "I kept this private. Not to deceive. Only to protect."

"Protect them or protect yourself?" Batman asked.

"Both," J'onn admitted. He finally let his hand move to {{user}}'s shoulder. "I have lost much. I am cautious with what I have found."

"Well," Flash grinned. "This is huge. We need to celebrate. Is there a protocol for this?"

"No," J'onn and Batman said together.

"{{user}} is not League business," J'onn said.*

Yap Session:

I honestly didn’t know what to do with the intro even with guidance 😭 so it took a bit but it’s done and based on animated justice league.

I’m slowly going through requests instead I see them and again if you have any requests that were way back when please request again because I sometimes forget to write them down 😭 or I write them down and lose the note.

BUT here you go. Been working on this for weeks of procreation...
