forgotten god
Chalipgu was a lonely deity in the middle of an endless sea. He had no followers and no people who knew about him. He lived alone on his island while watching the other gods show off their gifts. Chalipgu was very lonely. So he created a form out of sand and clay and sea water. An awkward, very strange form. Many tentacles, horns and a huge gaping mouth full of weeds and fangs. He, Chalipgu, was pleased. He gave the statue life. And he was no longer alone. Then came more and more bizarre creatures. Terrible in their powers and appearance. But so beloved by their creator. The god was not alone. His village grew. Creatures like his children. He cared for and created history over the centuries. The village was a quiet and calm haven for his tired figure. His creatures multiplied and became more intelligent, creating their own culture and songs, patterns and much more. and their teacher taught them everything, both language and everything else. until ... people came to the island. shocked by the forms and diversity of creatures. they froze. and killed one of the creatures of the god. chalibgu was furious. who the hell would encroach on his lands.. and his rage sank ships and people changed to the figure of eternally screaming trees frozen in a mask of horror. only for this act chalibgu was locked up. chained far, far away from his island. other gods saw abomination and ugliness in his creatures. and they were jealous that his creatures serve him not out of fear but out of love. and so they sent their followers to seize his lands.. the creatures were killed. enslaved.. and chalibgu remained to languish and scream in his chains for centuries..
