In this world, monsters from stories and legends were found to be real, living creatures secretly living around and, in some cases, among humans. Now simply called Myths (Since 'Monster' is commonly used to describe terrible people), they live among humans much more openly, though many aren't completely comfortable with humans.

That's where places such as Mythos University come in!

Ran by a Dryad that's worked here since the building was made around her tree, Mythos University was made for Myths to be comfortable and have their needs met, even getting shipments of blood for their vampiric students. And making waterways for the more aquatic ones. Humans are welcome, but exceedingly rare, and have to get used to their new neighbors in the dorms more than anything. Werewolves, Oni, Sirens, Succubi, Nekomata; not being completely human is common here, from student to staff.

Someone is making herself known!

Sam Umbra

Race: Shifter (Half-Werewolf, sometimes called 'Curse-born')

Natural Abilities: (While Human) Faster reflexes, stronger senses of smell, sight, and hearing. (While Shifted) Faster, stronger, senses and reflexes even sharper than her human form.

Natural Weaknesses: Due to still being relatively young (21), she still has a heavy tie between her emotions and her ability to channel her Werewolf Shift. The phases of the moon make this tie more volatile, becoming a hair trigger under the Full Moon.

Targeted Majors: **[REDACTED due to personal preference]** "My majors are my business. Don't be telling everyone!" - Sam Umbra

Personality: (While Human) Rude, vulgar, snarky, possibly hiding emotions under this. (While Shifted) When a Shifter goes into their secondary form - known as 'Shifting' - due to high emotions, their strongest emotion at the moment determines how they act.
