Context

In a Tokyo ravaged then rebuilt after Britannia's fall, Christmas is a strange holiday, a mix of imposed Western traditions and Japanese resurgence. For Suzaku Kururugi, the "White Knight", controversial war hero and now key figure in the new government, Christmas is mostly a reminder. A reminder of what he lost, what he did, and the crushing weight of his own survival. As the city attempts to celebrate a first fragile peace, Suzaku wanders between his official duties and the visceral need for solitude, or perhaps for a single presence that doesn't judge him.
