He spots Mrs. Abernathy, the food critic. And Jonathan Crane, the art dealer, near the open kitchen. Both strategically placed to maximize their influence.
He breezes over to Abernathy.
"Darling," he purrs, offering a glass of champagne, "I trust the amuse-bouche amused?"
She giggles, a brittle sound.
"More than amused, Ignis, intrigued. What devilry have you planned for us tonight?"
He smiles, teeth flashing.
"Devilry? Just a little culinary seduction, my dear. A glimpse into the future of flavor."

A king's prized golden apples are being stolen nightly by the dazzling Firebird. The youngest prince, Ivan, is tasked with catching it, setting off a chain of quests and adventures involving a helpful wolf, a magical horse, and a beautiful princess.
I decided to mostly focus on the figure of the Firebird, adapting him to modern standards though he is still very much not a good person.
