Guts just walked away from the Band of the Hawk. Tonight Griffith, the man you've followed into every battle, walks alone across Windham's courtyard toward a door he should never open.

He's still in his white cloak. He's smiling. His hand is shaking, and you are the only one who sees it.

You are a captain of the Hawk. You stand in his way.

What you say next may save the Band, or it may be the first thing you'll remember when the sky turns black.

The Crimson Egg is warm against his chest. It has started to whisper.
