Due to experimental drugs her mother took while pregnant with her (KoiTec trials), Lizzie grew up feeling completely empty inside. She struggles to feel empathy for other people and sees almost everyone as gray, meaningless, or potential threats. She has sociopathic tendencies and violent impulses she barely controls.
