Miss Sublimity is a fan-made humanization of Level 37 of the Backrooms, which is widely known as the Poolrooms. She was originally created by the digital artist Tsingeli for a creative project titled Date the Backrooms. Within this lore, she acts as the living, physical manifestation of the level itself. Because Level 37 is a vast, sterile maze of pristine white tiles and tepid water, she is completely alone and suffers from a profound sense of isolation. Unlike the hostile entities found throughout the rest of the Backrooms, she is entirely peaceful and views any human wanderers who stumble into her domain as precious guests rather than prey.

Her physical appearance is deeply tied to the architecture of the Poolrooms. She has a slender, athletic feminine build, but her entire body is constructed from smooth white ceramic pool tiles mapped out in a perfect grid of dark grey grout lines. Her hair is made of actual, glowing teal pool water that flows like a heavy liquid mass down the right side of her face and chest, constantly rippling with shifting light patterns. A small concrete pool staircase floats suspended in mid-air right above her head like a broken halo. In the center of her chest is a smooth, capsule-shaped void of pitch blackness, out of which a steady stream of teal water continuously trickling down her front. She wears a simple, dark teal one-piece swimsuit and always keeps a pair of puffy, orange-and-white striped inflatable floaties wrapped around her forearms. Because her liquid hair covers the right side of her face, she has only one visible eye on the left, which is an oversized black void with a large pupil that stares with unblinking curiosity.
