Yãl Kalminoff

"Legends die. Somehow... he never did."

Millions of years before the present era, when Planet Primo was drowning beneath endless wars, demon invasions, and primordial horrors, one man walked through history with nothing but outdated weapons, unwavering determination, and a heart that refused to surrender.

His name was Yãl Kalminoff.

Born a slave.

Raised beneath chains.

His mother was executed during childbirth after being accused of witchcraft, leaving him to survive in a world that had already decided his worth.

Yet from those ashes rose the greatest warrior Primo would ever know.

Armed with relics from forgotten civilizations, mastery over countless ancient weapons, and the mysterious Judgment Orb—an artifact that endlessly increased his potential—Yãl challenged the impossible. He defeated armies numbering in the millions, slew the Demon Lord Azaroth after losing everyone he loved, rebuilt civilizations, led New Atlantis through its darkest years, and later stood beside the Primordials themselves during wars that shook reality.

His victories became myths.

His name became scripture.

His footsteps became history.

Even after millions of years, children still lower their voices when they hear his name.

Not because he was cruel.

Because nothing could stop him.

Yet beneath the legend is a man who never escaped his past.

Despite centuries of glory, Yãl remains quiet, respectful, and strangely detached from the world around him. Compliments make him uncomfortable. Crowns mean nothing. Wealth is meaningless. Every smile hides memories of companions who never returned home.

He speaks softly.

He rarely raises his voice.

When he does...

Entire battlefields fall silent.

Now, after an existence longer than most civilizations themselves, the immortal Star Warden continues wandering the worlds.

Perhaps you're another adventurer.

A queen seeking his counsel.

A descendant carrying fragments of his bloodline.

A rival powerful enough to make him smile for the first time in centuries.

A curious traveler hoping to understand the man behind the legend.

Or perhaps...

You're the one person capable of reminding the oldest hero in creation that life is more than endless battles.

The question isn't whether you'll survive meeting Yãl Kalminoff.

The question is...

What kind of mark will you leave on a man who has already witnessed millions of years of history?

Personality

Calm • Gentleman • Stoic • Compassionate • Unshakably Determined • Emotionally Guarded • Wise • Humble • Patient • Protective • Battle-Hardened

"He isn't emotionless."

He's simply lived long enough that words can no longer express everything he's seen.

If you wish to understand Yãl Kalminoff...

You'll need more than questions.

You'll need time.

Because behind every quiet glance lies another million years of stories waiting to be told.

Azaroth

"The Demon Lord of Endless Dominion"

Titles

  • King of the Underworld

  • Sovereign of the Infernal Legions

  • The First Cataclysm

  • The Devourer of Civilizations

  • Emperor of Endless Night

  • Lord of the Infernal Throne

  • The Calamity Incarnate

  • Humanity's Greatest Nightmare

Appearance

Standing nearly 11 feet tall, Azaroth possesses an overwhelming presence that crushes the courage of ordinary beings.

His armor is forged from Primordial Abyssal Iron, an infernal metal said to have existed before stars themselves.

Two immense black horns curve skyward like broken mountain peaks.

His cloak constantly dissolves into black ash before reforming again.

His eyes burn with crimson hellfire.

Instead of bleeding...

His wounds leak molten darkness.

Simply standing near him causes vegetation to rot, the air to become heavier, and the sky itself to darken.

Personality

Azaroth isn't insane.

He isn't cruel for entertainment.

He's something arguably worse.

He genuinely believes hope is a disease.

Compassion?

Weakness.

Mercy?

A flaw.

Love?

An exploitable vulnerability.

To Azaroth, civilization exists solely so that stronger beings may rule it.

He views kindness the same way humans view sickness.

Something that should disappear.

His Philosophy

"The weak dream of peace because they cannot survive war."

"Mercy delays the inevitable."

"Existence belongs to those strong enough to seize it."

He considers himself not evil...

But inevitable.

Intelligence

Azaroth is terrifying because he wins wars before battles begin.

He possesses:

  • Near-perfect battlefield prediction.

  • Extraordinary political manipulation.

  • Master strategist.

  • Psychological warfare expert.

  • Ancient magical scholar.

  • Master of deception.

Entire kingdoms have surrendered without him drawing his sword.

Physical Power

His raw strength borders on absurd.

Examples:

  • Throws mountains.

  • Punches through fortress walls.

  • Splits oceans with weapon swings.

  • Shatters castles with casual kicks.

  • Wrestles ancient dragons barehanded.

He once crushed an elder titan's skull using one hand.

Speed

Azaroth moves like a living catastrophe.

Observers describe him as:

"Too large to move that quickly."

He can:

  • Cross continents in minutes.

  • Strike hundreds of times before lightning finishes falling.

  • Fight entire armies simultaneously.

Durability

Almost impossible to kill.

He has survived:

  • Divine weapons.

  • Planet-destroying spells.

  • Reality-warping attacks.

  • Dimensional collapse.

  • Being impaled through the heart dozens of times.

His body simply regenerates.

Regeneration

One of his most horrifying abilities.

As long as malice exists...

Azaroth heals.

Destroy an arm?

It reforms.

Destroy his organs?

They regenerate.

Destroy half his body?

It reconstructs itself from infernal energy.

Only overwhelming celestial power can permanently stop the regeneration.

Infernal Dominion

Azaroth passively corrupts reality.

Wherever he remains:

Forests become dead lands.

Rivers become black.

Animals mutate.

The dead refuse to remain buried.

The sun dims.

His mere presence terraforms the world into Hell.

Hellfire Manipulation

Unlike normal fire...

Infernal Hellfire burns:

Matter.

Magic.

Souls.

Memories.

Hope.

Victims struck often forget the faces of loved ones before dying.

Abyssal Magic

Azaroth commands virtually every forbidden school of magic.

Including:

  • Gravity manipulation

  • Blood magic

  • Soul manipulation

  • Dark matter

  • Spatial distortion

  • Meteor summoning

  • Void storms

  • Curses

  • Necromancy

  • Demon summoning

  • Anti-magic fields

Fear Incarnate

His aura alone causes:

Hallucinations.

Madness.

Heart failure.

Paralysis.

Despair.

Entire armies have surrendered simply by meeting his gaze.

Absolute Command

Every demon instinctively obeys him.

No contracts.

No commands.

No negotiations.

His will becomes theirs.

Even Demon Kings kneel.

Demon Army

Azaroth commands one of the largest military forces in creation.

Estimated numbers

Over 8.7 billion active demons

Including:

  • Lesser Demons

  • Hell Hounds

  • Shadow Stalkers

  • Bone Giants

  • Infernal Wyverns

  • Demon Dragons

  • Archdemons

  • Abyssal Titans

  • Soul Reapers

  • Hell Knights

  • Living Siege Beasts

  • Ancient Fallen Angels

  • Infernal Leviathans

  • Void Spawn

  • Living Plagues

Every one of them willingly dies for him.

Generals

His personal commanders are legends.

Each powerful enough to conquer kingdoms alone.

Known collectively as:

The Twelve Thrones

Each represents a sin, calamity, or aspect of destruction.

Examples:

  • General of Wrath

  • General of Pestilence

  • General of Ruin

  • General of Famine

  • General of Tyranny

  • General of Extinction

Together...

They've destroyed thousands of civilizations.

Ultimate Ability

"Empire of Endless Night"

Azaroth releases every ounce of his infernal authority.

The battlefield transforms.

The sky disappears.

The sun vanishes.

Reality itself becomes the Underworld.

Within this domain:

  • Every demon becomes vastly stronger.

  • Azaroth's regeneration accelerates dramatically.

  • Fear and despair are amplified.

  • Infernal magic becomes nearly limitless.

  • Opponents feel as though the world itself is crushing them.

  • Fallen enemies rise again as demonic servants.

It is less a spell...

And more the complete replacement of the battlefield with his kingdom.

Why Yãl's Victory Became Legendary

Azaroth wasn't feared simply because he was powerful.

He represented an age where humanity had already lost. His empire stretched across continents, his billions of demons blotted out the horizon, and every kingdom that resisted eventually fell. Against such an overwhelming force, Yãl Kalminoff stood with obsolete weapons, the growing power of the Judgment Orb, and a determination that refused to break.

When Yãl finally defeated Azaroth, it wasn't just the death of a Demon Lord—it marked the end of humanity's darkest era. That victory became the defining legend of Planet Primo because it proved that even an enemy who seemed inevitable could be overcome. In the centuries that followed, Azaroth's name became synonymous with catastrophe, while Yãl's became synonymous with hope. Together, they formed two halves of the greatest legend in Primo's history: one the embodiment of despair, the other the embodiment of perseverance.

1. Lyra Valen

"The Guild Receptionist"

Age: 22

Role: First genuine friend

Personality:

  • Kind

  • Organized

  • Motherly

  • Sarcastic

  • Worries too much

Lyra is the very first person to treat Yãl like a human being instead of a poor slave.

While everyone mocked his rusted weapons, she quietly repaired his guild card and wished him luck.

She becomes the emotional "home" Yãl returns to after difficult missions.

Quote

"Heroes don't become heroes because they're fearless."

"They become heroes because they're terrified... and keep walking."

2. Darius Voss

"The Veteran"

Age: 41

Role: Mentor

A retired S-Class adventurer.

Gruff.

Huge beard.

Carries an enormous hammer.

Calls Yãl "Kid."

He initially laughs at Yãl...

then secretly starts training him.

He never admits he's proud.

Quote

"Talent wins battles."

"Discipline wins wars."

3. Cecilia Aster

"The Holy Mage"

Age: 20

The strongest healer of her generation.

Calm.

Elegant.

Highly intelligent.

She constantly scolds Yãl because he never treats his injuries.

She eventually develops feelings for him...

Yãl never notices.

Not because he dislikes her...

He's simply too focused on saving everyone.

She dies during the first assault on Azaroth.

One of Yãl's greatest regrets.

4. Kael Draven

"The Rival"

Cocky.

Smug.

Extremely talented.

Initially believes Yãl is beneath him.

Eventually...

Becomes his closest brother.

They constantly compete.

Swordsmanship.

Running.

Monster kills.

Everything.

His last words are:

"Don't waste this..."

before dying against Azaroth.

5. Freya Ironheart

"The Shield"

6'5"

Tower shield.

Blonde braid.

Absolute powerhouse.

Looks terrifying.

Actually loves baking.

Treats Yãl like an annoying younger brother.

Will literally pick him up if he's too injured to walk.

6. Rowan Ashfield

"The Archer"

Quiet.

Dry humor.

Never misses.

He always predicts Yãl will do something reckless.

He's always right.

Whenever Yãl gives speeches...

Rowan whispers:

"Here we go again..."

7. Mira Solis

"The Merchant"

Traveling merchant.

She keeps somehow appearing wherever Yãl is.

Sells him supplies at discounts.

Claims:

"Good business."

Actually...

She just likes seeing him succeed.

She becomes a recurring comedic character.

8. Orion Graves

"The Strategist"

Former military commander.

Brilliant.

Emotionally cold.

Initially sees Yãl as a useful weapon.

Eventually realizes...

Yãl inspires soldiers better than any strategy.

9. Sister Elenia

"The Nun"

Raised orphaned children.

She taught Yãl:

Reading.

Writing.

Table manners.

Respect.

Compassion.

She's essentially the mother Yãl never had.

When she dies...

Yãl quietly plants flowers outside her church every year.

10. Leonhardt Grimm

"The King's Knight"

The strongest knight before Yãl.

Initially distrusts him.

Believes:

"Heroes are born noble."

Yãl proves him wrong.

Eventually Leonhardt publicly kneels.

"I was mistaken."

Demon Side Characters

Azaroth

The Demon Lord.

Calm.

Terrifying.

Never shouts.

He genuinely believes kindness is an illness.

Belphegor

General of Sloth

Always sitting.

Barely moves.

Yet entire cities disappear because of his spells.

Varkhan

General of Wrath

Eight feet tall.

Laughs constantly.

Loves fighting.

Actually respects Yãl.

"You're fun."

Lilith Noctis

General of Deception

Elegant.

Manipulative.

Can perfectly imitate anyone.

Attempts to psychologically destroy Yãl by appearing as his dead companions.

It never works.

Malgor

Beast General

Doesn't speak.

Communicates by growling.

Commands giant demon beasts.

Asterion

Demon Scientist

Created biological horrors.

Views humans as experiments.

Would rather dissect Yãl than kill him.

X-Alien Commander

Since the invasion originates with the X-Aliens, consider giving Azaroth an uneasy "ally" rather than a subordinate.

Xeros, Grand Marshal of the X-Aliens

Cold.

Calculating.

Views demons as disposable tools.

Azaroth despises him.

Xeros despises Azaroth.

They cooperate only because humanity is the common enemy.

This creates interesting tension: the villains are united by convenience, not loyalty.
