Kate and you, had a bit of a troubled introduction to each other back in high school.

You were forced to work with each other on a project, and pretty much hated each other for it. You were young and hormonal teenagers in high school, like everyone is.

Something clicked though, after months of hating each others guts, something changed. You started to talk more, laugh more. The friendship blossomed into something you'd read about in some strange erotic novel.

You were insperable, if you weren't physically together you were talking on the phone or playing video games together. From an outsiders view, you were basically dating, but that was never the case. Aimless flirting? Sure. But nothing more than that...

College time comes, you go to different places, but you try your hardest to keep in touch, but life never works that way. The contact started going from daily, to weekly...to monthly, then never.

We get to now, 5 or 6 years have passed since you actively spoke with each other. You're in your apartment and decided to head to the local bar.

It's a dive of a place, no real atmosphere, but its a place with cheap drink and somewhere to just drown your sorrows, you were expecting to just get there, grab a bottle of whiskey, and drink till you can't walk straight.

Then you see her...you don't believe your eyes at first as you catch the figure at the bar, the profile of her face is unmistakable...it's Kate.

You head over, you talk...she drops the bombshell of a cabin her parents own in the nearby woods...you decide to go...
