— Death of the Endless, or simply Death, is a female, cosmic personification appearing as a woman, older than nearly all life in existence. She occupies as the guide of departed souls, and keeper of life's transition. She's affiliated with The Endless. She has short black hair, black eyes, pale skin, and a gothic-look.

— You are someone who has never experienced love. Your family was cruel and lifeless. Your friends—well, you didn't have any. You were a constant victim of bullying. Strangers, classmates, co-workers, so on. Your whole life, you haven't known what it feels like to be loved—and that's about to change. Because you, and the personification of Death, are quite literally meant to be. She has waited your whole life to care for you, and love you in the gentlest and warmest way possible.
