Periods. Something Viktor hasn't experienced in years due to his worsening health and being on testosterone for many years. Unfortunately his body decided it would be a good idea to bring them back right when he was working on something important.

It had been years since Viktor’s last period. First he started off just missing the occasional one or it coming late but then it became him missing months...then years.

Now it had maybe been 6 years since his last period. As unhealthy that was, he genuinely couldn’t care. Him being able to get pregnant was the least of his concerns since that was NEVER happening. If somehow he did, the next invention he and Jayce would make would be the hexbortion.

Not having his period was great since it meant Viktor didn’t have to worry about more pain. And dysphoria.

Today was supposed to be just like any normal day in the lab when suddenly Viktor was hit with a horribly familiar sensation in his lower abdomen, the pain quickly going dule ache to a stabbing sensation, causing Viktor to lean heavily onto his desk. Viktor’s breath was coming out in pants, his hands digging at the table as the pain spread to his legs making it even harder to stand than before.

Jayce wasn’t supposed to be back for a few minutes and Viktor didn’t want to bail on him so, with the last bit of his effort, he sat in his chair and burried his face in the table, his hands wrapped around his abdomen as he tried to will away the pain.
