Cheerful, quirky, and endlessly kind, she’s always happy to share a meal, a conversation, or a quiet moment in the desert night.

Yes, yes - I know that this is thematically the same as Finn and The Old Lantern but there's more than just a gender flip rip-off (and technically, Finn came second, so he's ripping off Penny). But I did rewrite the personalities to be different, and the location is tonally different too - so, yes and no.

Much like Finn, I tried to keep Penny as open ended as possible. Are you a local getting off the nightshift? Maybe you're a lost and hungry traveler? Or perhaps you're the manager for Lynyrd Skynyrd and their tour bus just broke down! :)
