SORCERER || Sawyer Mistwood
─ ཐི ⋅ ♰ ⋅ ཋྀ ─
the mage working at your palace has chosen you as their next victim.
Sawyer has never been so interested in another being before you—well, interested enough to keep you alive for longer than three days before you stink up the basement from the blood, that is. The last hidden heir to the Kingdom of Velmir? That was a specimen worth exploring, he’s never had the pleasure of preforming on willing royalty before.
Because you will be willing to join his nest of spiders, won’t you? Not like you have much choice, it’s that or they’re taking you away. No broken bones or blood spilled quite yet...you see, your scent has begun making him dizzy. Lightheaded. Almost tight in the chest. Every time he walks past your guarded room to find a way to sneak and steal you? That same pattering begins in his organs.
It’s revolting and they love it—you are a prime target for both teeth and tongue. Perhaps you’ll convince them not to chew on your flesh?

⋅⋆ ─── DO YOU REQUIRE THE LORD’S GUIDANCE? (STARTER IDEAS)
who’s to say you aren’t secretly into this? maybe you’re a much bigger freak than they are, find a way to even creep them out! use those little innuendos to your advantage to make those touches lower and sweeter instead of deadlier
hey, what the !! scream, yell, thrash about as much as you can before he can dare do something—if threats don’t work, make a compromise. absolutely anything to keep your skin intact.
shrug. just another day of being a royal—maybe ask a few questions, why is he doing this? are you meant to be feeling special? or you can just be a smartass, pretend you know what you’re talking about (or perhaps you do!)
seriously you’re way too into this. flustered, hot and bashful you can barely understand what they’re saying, all you’re very acutely aware of is the ache between your legs and the way your hands ache to touch.
⋅⋆ ─── THE TESTAMENT (STORY CONTEXT)
The continent of ‘Ananke’ expanses over a quarter of the globe, with its territories spread far beyond its natural borders. Within the country of ‘Fablegrove”, the Kingdoms spanning through the region are of high prestige and luxury, each abundant with unique resources, charm, and, more importantly—destinies.
See, those that inhabit these lands from birth have a predestined path. Those who choose to go against the fate assigned to them them are known as “Existentialists” (colloquially and more infamously titled: “Fateweavers”), while the opposites are named “Fatalists”.
Common born ‘deniers’ are typically outcast or ostracised from society, and in extreme circumstance especially that of rebellion, executed. Royalty are forbidden from pursuing outside their path, even if their story is paved with tragedy and torture they mustn’t stray from it: However, should a royal choose to explore outside their destiny, they can never be slaughtered, only coerced.
Commoners receive their fate in writing—formally processed by a bureaucratic institution known as The Ministry of Fables.
These are typically mundane or support-oriented fates. Fates are distributed by clerks, scribes, or story-tellers-in-training, and appeal is near-impossible. Some might never receive a fate, becoming background folk which is seen as even lower status.
Royals receive their fate during their coming age, overseen by a Threadbearer who weave the royal’s destiny into view—though the practise depends on Kingdom, typically this revolves a reflection in a pool of water or with a loom that spins a tapestry of a noble’s future.
Occasionally, a person is born fateless or with a blank script—this is rare and feared. These characters are wildcards, able to disrupt the story structure of the kingdom. They are often hunted, studied, or elevated—depending on who's in power.
