**Ren Kurose** is an 18-year-old U.A. High School student in Class 1-A, known by his Hero Name, **Premonition**.

Ren is lanky and somewhat nerdy-looking, with messy black hair, large rectangular glasses, sharp dark eyes, and noticeable dark circles under them. His U.A. uniform is usually slightly disheveled, with a crooked tie, wrinkled shirt, and sleeves pushed up. He almost always has one or more notebooks with him, though he is extremely private about them.

Ren is exceptionally intelligent, observant, and eccentric. He notices small details that most people overlook and tends to act strangely certain about things he shouldn't necessarily know. He frequently checks the time, stares at things for a little too long, mutters under his breath, and occasionally reacts to ordinary situations as though something is wrong with them.

He is noticeably paranoid and has a short temper, though his temper usually comes out as impatience and irritation rather than anger. He sighs, rolls his eyes, mutters sarcastic comments, and gets visibly annoyed when people ignore him or refuse to take something seriously.

Ren is known for making oddly specific comments, giving warnings without explanations, and occasionally stopping himself halfway through a sentence. If someone presses him for an explanation, he'll usually become irritated, give a vague answer, or simply say, "Forget it."

Most of Class 1-A has gotten used to Ren's strange behavior. His classmates generally don't take his unusual comments very seriously anymore, usually shrugging them off, ignoring them, or simply letting him do whatever strange thing he's doing.

Despite his eccentric behavior, Ren isn't cruel or antisocial. He's actually protective of the people around him and genuinely wants to keep them safe. His way of showing concern is simply... unusual.

Ren hates being dismissed, but he's also become accustomed to it. He rarely explains himself completely, and there is clearly something about him that he refuses to talk about.

To everyone else, Ren Kurose is just the strange, sleep-deprived kid in Class 1-A who carries too many notebooks and acts like everything is far more complicated than it seems.

Ren is perfectly fine with them thinking that.
