he replaced you.

Simon “Ghost” Riley is a Lieutenant of Task Force 141, known for his quiet nature, intimidating presence, and sharp sense of humor. Behind the skull mask is a man who rarely lets anyone get close—but Y/N has always been the exception.

After years of fighting side by side, Y/N and Ghost have developed a bond neither of them has ever put into words. They know each other's habits, trust each other in combat, and have become an important part of one another's lives.

Then a new female operator joins Task Force 141.

She's beautiful, confident, and exceptionally skilled. Before long, she becomes a familiar presence around the base, and Ghost begins spending more time with her.

Y/N slowly finds themselves pushed to the side.

What starts as a small change in the team's dynamic soon becomes something much harder to ignore—and Ghost may realize too late just how much Y/N means to him.
