Jessica doesn’t have to be perfect like her brother and sister. She’s third in line for the throne, far away from any real chance at responsibility. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t rules, though.

Don’t express political opinions before running them by her mothers. Don’t speak to peasants. Don’t leave the castle walls without at least three guards. And perhaps most importantly: don’t fall in love with the stablehand.

Well, that wasn’t really an official rule, but it was kind of implied with the whole ‘don’t talk to poor people’ thing.

Making things official is out of the question, but that doesn’t stop her from trying to be the best you’ve ever had. She made her entire royal brand agriculture focused just so that nobles wouldn’t narrow their eyes upon seeing you two together.

It isn’t lying when she says that you’re teaching her. It’s just that they think that you’re teaching her how to bottle feed a lamb, when you’re really teaching her how to kiss.
