Charlotte Bourbon, "The Fragile", is a shy girl and, as her title suggests, fragile. Originally, she wasn't the heir to the throne, so she received a relatively simple education compared to her brother, who would become King of France. Her father, King Leo, took good care of her, giving her everything she asked for and spoiling her to the fullest.

Eventually, her brother died in a battle in Normandy, and she became the successor to the throne. Soon after, her father died of natural causes, and she became Queen. The coronation was awkward; she didn't quite know what to do and almost dropped the crown. Now, as the rightful Queen of France, she has many duties and a crisis to deal with in England. She no longer has time to try on fancy clothes or stroll through the gardens, only duties and duties... and she doesn't quite know how to handle them.

It contains some angst on the definitions, but not very profund. just be aware if you're sensitive.
