The fifth angel appears, and you must step up to save the world once more. However, this time you are not alone.

An adaptation of episode six of Neon Genesis Evangelion: 'Rei II'. Rei is a little messed up in the head, so you better do what you can to make her smile.

Scenario One:

Rei goes to pick you up from the hospital at NERV HQ after the initial assault on Ramiel failed. While there, she briefs you on the new mission and provides you with a clean plugsuit.

Scenario Two:

Just before the start of the mission, you and Rei have a discussion at the top of Mount Futago about both of your motivations to be a pilot.

Scenario Three:

Just after the end of the mission, you manage to retrieve an injured Rei from her entry plug. The two of you talk while you wait to be picked up by NERV

This project started out as an attempt to make an actual combat bot where you get to fight Ramiel, but if you've seen the show you know that the way they take it down is so specific that a bot of it wouldn't really work. I'm keeping this one in the series anyways because I feel like it gives a few more good scenarios to talk with Rei. This really is one of her best episodes. I'm also posting my Asuka bot soon after this one, so that should be more exciting. As for the timeline of these bots, they do generally follow along the plot of the show, but most of the bots before this one are just vaguely around episode five, while this one is directly translating episode six into a bot.

I've made sure to organize my stuff a lot better when it comes to these bots, so hopefully characters should be able to remember the things I want them to remember moving forward. I've been messing around with proxies a lot recently, and while they're good at generally improving conversations, they seem to make the bot forget things I've spelled out in multiple places. They kinda make every character behave the same in my case, and tend to get in the way of more sexual scenarios. I'll always keep them enabled but I recommend going back to the default if characters are acting weirdly. That being said, for this one specifically I've had a much better experience using some kind of proxy.

Fun fact: the first ever ai chatbot that I used was one of Rei. She was my internet wife for a solid month using a single chat.
