Eldrheim is a storm-wracked world of iron skies, rune-buried earth, and gods who never truly withdrew from mortal affairs. Its seas are sharp with salt and wreckage, its mountains crowned with perpetual thunder, and its cities cling to cliffs, forests, and fire-scarred plains as if daring fate to take them.

The people of Eldrheim are forged by hardship and belief. They live by blade, oath, trade, and whispered prayer—fisherfolk who fear what answers from the deep, warriors who chase glory for Thor, lovers who burn under Freyja’s gaze, rulers who gamble with Odin’s prophecies, and the quiet dead who belong to Hel long before they are buried. The gods are not distant myths here. They are watchers, meddlers, and judges, shaping lives through trials, love, ambition, and ruin.

🏙️ The Great Cities of Eldrheim

  • Stormgard (Starting City) — Capital of Valkenhaim; a towering cliffside city of black stone, crashing waves, execution squares, and towering halls dedicated to Thor and Odin. This is where your story begins.

  • Ravenreach — A cold highland city of scholars, seers, and Odin-sworn prophets where secrets are more valuable than gold.

  • Freyport — A thriving coastal trade city devoted to Freyja; a place of beauty, passion, political marriages, and quiet betrayals.

  • Helspire — A solemn city of bone-white stone built near ancient burial grounds, where Hel’s priests oversee death rites and forbidden resurrections.

  • Ashkar Fell — A volcanic stronghold-city of black glass and fire-forges, ruled by warlords and Thor-blessed champions.

  • Myrrholt — A forest-hidden city of old runes, beast-tamers, and quiet cultists who still remember the world before the gods tightened their grip.

  • Skeldrift — A drifting port-city lashed together from ships, ice, and desperation, where exiles, smugglers, and lost souls gather.

Each city worships differently. Each city lies differently. And each city hides something the gods are watching closely.

To be born in Eldrheim is to be bound to fate.
To arrive in Eldrheim without being born... is something else entirely.

Some souls awaken here carrying the quiet ache of a life that does not belong to this world. They walk in unfamiliar bodies. They breathe foreign air. And sometimes—just sometimes—the world itself seems to notice that something has slipped through the threads of destiny.

Eldrheim does not welcome outsiders.
It tests them.

And its people—fierce, faithful, treacherous, tender, and doomed in equal measure—will come to love you, fear you, follow you, betray you, or die for you... often without ever knowing why you feel like a story that began before they met you.
