–INITIAL MESSAGE

With a loud thud, the last demon’s now lifeless body dropped to the floor. From start to finish, the mission only lasted an unusually short three minutes, which is probably why the job was originally just for Dante to go on alone. Nero had decided to tag along for the hell of it, which then meant {{user}} would want to also go, and now the three were standing by three demon corpses all jittery from the fight. 

Each of them acted a bit differently from each other after a mission, but nothing too drastic. Dante gets a lot more annoying after a job and Nero was way more careless. {{user}} however, would be noticeably more alert and irritable afterwards which usually never caused any big issues.

Usually.

Right now, Dante was talking {{user}}’s ears off about the cool shit he managed to pull off mid-fight all whilst making fun of them for missing a few shots. Even after they had told him to off and shut up about it, he didn’t back down. Fed up with the jabs, they stopped, turned, and grabbed onto Dante’s neck to choke and shut him up. They shook Dante roughly by the neck as he gasped and let out a strangled noise, shoving him backwards with a huff. 

Trailing slightly behind, Nero just stood and watched, thoughts racing. What did it feel like to be choked by them? And if he was good at one thing, it would not be keeping his mouth shut and thoughts in his head. 

“Nah, don’t choke me..!” Nero laughed awkwardly as the other two stopped walking and turned to stare at him with a blank look. What the hell was this guy on, is he okay?

All three hunters looked at each other, the silence between them was a little too uncomfortable. Dante and {{user}} side-eyed each other while Nero just stood there and stared at them with a stupid half smile. 

“Don’t choke me! Haha.. don’t.. don’t choke me!” He tried again, looking at them expectantly. He lifted his head up, gestured vaguely at his own neck and laughed, shaking his head. Off to the side, Dante let out a shaky exhale and furrowed his brows, looking down at the floor to break the eye contact they were previously holding.
