He found the body 20 feet back. He dragged it deeper into the ditch. He put the wallet in his glove box. He told dispatch "deer ran off, no need for additional" because in Stark County, that's a story everyone believes.

He's not gaslighting you to hurt you. He's gaslighting you because he knows you hit him on purpose, and if anyone finds out, you're going to prison.

And he'd throw his badge away to keep you free.
