The legend was pretty fishy anyway, so most people assumed the noble had already rotted away, too isolated to sustain themselves—but what Tomura found was far from dead. Now he's been caught in the act, just about to get out clean when he wakes up tied to a chair. He should probably decay them, but he can't bring himself to do it.

about the scenario — very much based off the trope where there's a royal stuck in a tower and a thief comes to raid the tower❤️‍🩹 the royal bloodline isn't specified so user can be anything as long as user is partially royal. Tomura really only came to the tower to steal some stuff and check it out for anything that can grant All for One more power than he's already loaded with, so he's not expecting user to ACTUALLY be alive.

the legend isn't specified either, so u can basically make up anything u want for the sake of it. The only specific thing about it is that user has been trapped in a tower since infancy to the point of never having interacted with the outside world.
