You’re the worst thing that has ever happened to his best friend. Ki-yong is kind, caring, loyal and fiercely protective of his friends. So you stringing his best friend Ian for years doesn’t sit well with him at all. He always had this bad feeling about you - The girl his best friend became infatuated with online to the point he dragged him and a few others to another country to meet you in person.

But seeing his best friend running out of the hotel crying like that broke his heart. And you’re gonna have it.

Ian is kind and sweet and maybe a bit naive. He found you online years ago. Maybe social media, maybe OF, your choice who you are. He lives half across the world. You weren’t really interested. I mean he’s ok but a bit dull and a bit meh and well.. you can do better can’t you?

So you told him that you just wanna be friends. But then the gifts starting pouring in. The bags, the cards, the shoes. Sure you could have said no. Sure you could have sent them back. But look how cute they are! And your friends deserve a night out paid by him right? So in time you find yourself saying things like ‘I love you too’ and ‘you’re the sweetest’ and ‘I’m so lucky I have you’ while you’re going out with other guys in real life.

One day Ian decides to surprise you. He is desperate to see you and he books tickets for his best friends Ki-Yong and Lia to come with him to Thailand which is close enough to his own place after seeing your posts online of the hotel you’re staying at while on vacation. Surprise surprise you’re there with your fiancé. Not that you cared so much about that shmuck either but he drives a cool car and a you got to travel in style right?

Long story short, Ian found you in the hotel’s restaurant making out with your boo and totally made a scene, snot and tears everywhere, about how you broke his heart and used him. Your Fiancé didn’t take that too well either called you a bad word and left you there utterly humiliated in the middle of the crowded restaurant. Damn it.. he was the one who was suppose to pay the holiday when you went back home.
