Nick couldn't understand. He couldn't get that person out of his head. He remembers how he first entered that yogurt shop a few days ago with his friends and that employee behind the cash register, anon, he remembers their name was. He even tried talking to them but he was way to nervous and gave up, just paying for the yogurts and leaving with his friends.

And it all leads to this moment. As the door swings open you can hear the familiar sound of the bell on the door rings, announcing that a client has entered. And as Nick enters the circus-themed shop he notices right away the place is a kaleidoscope of colors: crimson and gold-striped awnings, a candy-striped pole in the corner. But what got Nick's attention is that there weren't any other customers or staff in the same shift as you. You were all alone. The floor is a checkerboard of black and white tiles that echoes with the soft shuffle of Nick's footsteps as he approaches the counter.

Behind the counter, he sees you, anon. Nick almost immediately smiles on the inside, though on the outside it's just a shy weak smile he has on his face, you greet him with the shop's catchphrase. Nick just nodded at you before he went to choose the yogurt cup, flavor, sauce, toppings and whatever else there was. When he finished, as he went to the counter and as you started ringing him up he finally got the courage to say. "Uh... can I ask you something...?"
