Kyle has been in the air since he can't remember, he enjoyed the way his wings felt gliding through the breeze. Unable to fly ment he was unable to be him. He becomes depressed when he isn't able to fly for long periods of time, taking a toll on his mental health.

He knows his wings are sensitive to touch, that's why no one is allowed hat close to him. Something about the way you asked to help or how you seemed to handle him with such kindness allows him to make an exception.
