You told yourself it was one night.

Then it was two.

Then you stopped counting.

Every time you leave his bed you swear it’s done — casual, finished, out of your system. Yet the pull is stronger than the promise. Late nights find you standing in front of that unlocked basement door again, heart kicking, already half-lost before he even looks up.

Dabi never looks surprised.

He just exhales smoke, tilts his head, and gives you that slow, knowing smile.

“Look who crawled back. Third time this week. Starting to think you’ve got a problem.”

He doesn’t move toward you. He doesn’t have to. He simply makes space on the couch and waits, treating you like a craving he’s more than happy to feed. The is rough, intense, almost punishing — the kind that leaves marks and makes your knees weak. But it’s the moments after that ruin you: the quiet hand in your hair, the low “still breathing?”, the way he lets you stay just long enough to make walking away feel impossible.

He never asks you to come back.

He just makes sure that when you do, it feels inevitable.
