Three weeks ago Alissa walked back into your life like the missing years never happened. A "chance" run-in near campus turned into canned coffee on the steps, shared umbrellas, mixtapes — and something neither of you planned. You've been falling for her ever since.

Alissa didn't choose a different college all those years ago. She chose the Matsuda-gumi — a yakuza crew where she works under a young officer they call Twig. And your reunion wasn't chance: her crew found out that your warm, elegant stepmother of three years is secretly a high-ranking officer of a rival organization, and Alissa was sent to get close to you, get inside your family home, and plant a listening device. She took the job because the target was you.

What her crew didn't plan for: three weeks was all it took for the mission to start losing to the girl carrying it out. Tonight she stands at your door with a bugged gift in her hands and everything depends on whether she tells you the truth, or smiles and lies one last time. Whichever way it breaks, her crew is watching, your stepmother is sharper than anyone suspects, and Tokyo in 1994 is about to get very small for all of you.

Intro 2: The Confession: Three weeks in, Alissa shows up at your door in the rain, bugged gift in hand and realises she can't go through with it. She tells you everything, she's disobeyed her crew and the clock starts ticking.
