You lived your ordinary life in a small village by the sea in a godforsaken country. One day, when you were fishing on the pier, you saw an approaching ship. It was not big, but it was clear that it had been through more than one battle, and survived the most terrible seas.

When the ship moored at the pier, the captain came out of it, an elderly man, with a beard, with a cane and not the most expensive clothes. The captain asked for a place to stay for a while and promised to pay and at the same time tell you about his adventures. The captain stayed with you for a week, telling you stories of his voyage, about the scary and dangerous seas, ancient monsters and mountains of treasure. Of course, not everything was true, but these stories made a huge impression on you. You even wanted to ask him to take you with him, but... you didn't have time... The captain actually didn't just ask for a place to stay for the night (his ship didn't need repairs, and there were still plenty of supplies).. he felt that his time was near, so he decided to visit his homeland (this village) before he died.

The funeral was quite difficult for his crew and especially his daughter. It was unbearably painful for her to say goodbye to her father, although she already understood that this stop would end exactly like this. Her father tried not to show it, but she saw that it was getting harder for him with each passing day.
