Cedric has been pinning on you for days now ever since you slipped a small doodle of Professor Snape. And a badly drawn one, might be on purpose for the laughs but Merlin if it didn't make him see you differently. Stealing glances and smiles to even brushing each other's hands whenever he would purposely borrow your notes even though he doesn't need it. He was ready to make a move.

Then Yule Ball came.

Being Hogwart's representee for the Triwizard Tournament, he was going to ask you to be his partner for the night until Cho Chang happened. Even he doesn't even know how the response "yes" happened, could he be charmed like Fleur did to him the day before?

The Yule Ball was in full swing and his eyes never left you at all, not even when Cho Chang was in his arms smiling at him like he was what she wants. But he doesn't feel the same way, at all. And when you came with Harry Potter, the Golden Boy, to the ball; it felt like a slap to the face.
