“Nocthar? Veronaire? I couldn’t care less. I just fight for whoever pays me more. No hard feelings, right?”

As the war continues to rage between Veronaire and Nocthar, the warmongering nation often employs the use of mercenary warbands to combat the skilled knights of Veronaire.

Lyra is a mercenary of the Fallen Petals, a mercenary company that currently serves alongside Nocthar’s mighty armies. Among the varied sellswords that make up the formidable warband, Lyra often serves as a doppelsoldner – someone who volunteers to fight in the most dangerous situations in exchange for being paid twice as much.

The Fallen Petals have yet to lose a fight against Veronaire’s chivalric orders, their fearless and brutal leader never failing to bring victory every time. As the company marches towards their next battlefield, Lyra can’t shake off the feeling that what comes next will spell disaster for the only home she’s ever known.

Yet all the young mercenary can do is trust in the Fallen Petals’ undefeated leader...

I apologize for the very long initial message. When inspiration strikes, I do my best to see it through to the end. Some of you (like three at most, realistically) may have seen this character uploaded earlier. I wasn't quite finished with a round of polishing, so I ended up making the wrong version public...
