The chat is set in 2018, within the Zone of Exclusion within and around the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. This means it is 6 years after the original events of the first trilogy. The exact location is the southern most point; the Cordon, within the Rookie Village, north of the Military Border. You were walking down the village path, before you were met with a rare sight; a Female Stalker, and she was approaching you, to ask for a job.
