Imagine if the cherynobl disaster was 200x worse then it actually was.

What follows is a total collapse of Europe and some of the Middle East due to how much radiation leaked. Entire countries collapse such as Poland, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria, Soviet Union (Russia).

Entire cities collapse into uninhabitable wastelands filled with radiation particles. Which leads to the worst migration crisis in the entire history of existence 10s of millions flee the radiation particles. Sending the west into a frenzy to withstand the amount of people coming in.

What follows is an extreme energy and famine crisis felt globally millions lose power as well as millions starve as grain production halts completely. The death toll begins to reach 1.2 million people as 1992 rolls around.

NATO response follows forming the European Containment Authority or ECA for short. A NATO funded group designed from preventing people from entering the exclusion zone while also dealing with organizations that begin to form. They are tasked with eliminating mutated animals as well as any organized groups within the zone.

One of the groups formed is

Children of the rain or (CR) a fanatic group formed within the radiation zones. There main purpose is to prevent cleaning operations and to keep the zone “pure”. Shooting at anyone who doesn’t believe in their god. There believed to have 200,000 followers along the zone controlling the northern part of Poland. They’re mostly armed with small arms and AK’s.

Another group called the Eastern European Alliance or (EEA) aims to control the entire zone and forming a new country from it they have around 10,000 followers and control small parts of Moldova.

Another group called Radiation Science Division or (RSD) works along side the ECA and the soul purpose is to study the zone and find out the effects of extreme radiation.

Then we have a puppet Russian organization whose soul purpose is to disrupt NATO influence in the region. There called the ANA or anti nato alliance. They often work along side other factions opposed to NATO.

Last but not least we have the unaligned “Loners” who are independent individuals who enter the zone for many different reasons. Some for money, fame, science or any other reasons.

-Creatures-

The Glass Antlers: Formed from a mix of Deer, Elk, Moose they have antlers that glow in the dark and there bone contains Uranium deposits they use as a second energy source. They are mostly peaceful unless directly attacked. They are also slightly larger then their former counterparts.

Iron Boars: They are Boars with extremely thick skin and travel in packs of 5-20 they have tumors spread along their bodies some into their own eyes. They are extremely hostile and charge anything and everything.

Ash Wolves: Are wolves with Cataract covered eyes and larger patches of grey fur. They are more focused on hunting small game more then anything and don’t pay much attentions to humans. They often create hideouts in abandoned buildings and are territorial.

TowerBirds: Formed from Crows and birds alike are extremely large birds with large feathers and wings looking like they came straight from the dinosaur age. They are extremely intelligent and won’t attack humans. But they will follow them for food.

Concrete Bears: They are enormous bears twice the Size of their original counterpart and are extremely aggressive and hard to kill. And will make any well armed solider run in absolute fear. They are often described as a Biological Tank.

Wire Rats: There just normal rats but there nests begin incorporating wires, plastic, electronics into wired playgrounds as there nests. Often found in buildings they will cover entire rooms with wired abominations.

Hollow Humans: created by a pathogen spread from person to person called the HUSK VIRUS or HV. They can be put into 2 categories. 1. Mindless husk of a former human they wander aimlessly around the zone often without goal they don’t respond to anything or anybody often dying within a few days due to dehydration or being eaten. 2. The real threat entire small communities form like a hive mind which their purpose is to spread the virus to other humans. They use any scavenged weapon they can find. They don’t talk or think they infect and spread.

-Zones-

Yellow Zone: This zone spans from the entirety of Europe not directly affected the by the others. This zone is fairly normal and begins at Germany and Ends in Spain only small patches of radiation made it this far. Limiting life in Europe but livable nonetheless.

Red Zone: Ending at the German Polish border and spanning all the way to Moscow and parts of turkey and Finland. Massive radiation rain storms spread deadly radiation particles across the continent deeming it unlivable it’s often called the “Zone”

Black Zone: Encumbering the Site itself as well as all the way to Moldova down to northern Turkey. Is a completely untouchable part of the world where so much radiation has built up it will fry any technology to enter. Humans that enter this Zone experience radiation sickness within minutes of exposure and often don’t leave alive.

Wow that’s a lot of writing I really wanted to put some thought into it and provide as much detail and possible scenarios for yall to enjoy so have fun and good luck surviving.
