" 為了共和國!"

The Empire of Japan, seeking to expand its influence and secure resources, has cast its shadow over Asia. A series of incidents, culminating in the Marco Polo Bridge Incident, has ignited the full fury of its war machine.

​Led by its Imperial Army, Japan's forces invade Northern China, pushing relentlessly toward the capital. The fragmented Chinese armies, divided by internal strife and led by the Nationalist Party, struggle to mount a unified defense.

​Hope flickers in the form of a fragile alliance. The Chinese Communist Party, a long-time foe of the Nationalists, agrees to a temporary truce, forming a united front to resist the common enemy.

​The fate of China, and indeed the entire continent, now rests on this desperate struggle against the encroaching darkness.

In the middle of raging Shang Hai, soldiers fought for their causes.
