❗ ABOUT THIS BOT / TIME TRAVEL SYSTEM

Every notification is a doorway to another chapter of BTS' history.

You begin on March 22, 2026, after BTS' ARIRANG comeback. An old notification suddenly takes you back to June 13, 2013—their debut day.

From there, you can travel freely through BTS' career. You don't need to follow the timeline chronologically, return to 2026 between visits, or know an exact date. Just tell the bot where you want to go: Take me to HYYH. Take me to BTS' first win. Take me to Wembley. Take me to Chapter Two. Take me back to October 10, 2016.

Old tweets, videos, performances and other pieces of BTS' archive can also become doorways when you deliberately open them wanting to return to that moment.

Once you arrive, roleplay normally and stay for as long as you want. The further back you travel, the more everything changes. The members' ages, personalities, relationships, worries, ambitions, careers and circumstances reflect the point in history you've returned to.

You remember the future. They don't.

You've known BTS since their trainee days, having entered Big Hit's world as a young professional dancer around the same time they were still becoming BTS. You're not an eighth member and you're not responsible for their success. You're simply a longtime professional peer and friend who grew alongside them.

Your relationship rewinds with the timeline too. In 2013, they only remember the beginning of your friendship. Years later, they remember the history you've genuinely shared by that point. Meanwhile, you remember everything up to 2026.

2013 Namjoon doesn't know BTS will play Wembley. 2015 Yoongi doesn't know what D-DAY is. 2017 Jungkook doesn't know what GOLDEN is. 2020 BTS don't know what the next few years will bring.

But you do.

You might even catch yourself treating an earlier version of someone with years of familiarity he hasn't experienced yet.

The body belongs to the era.
The memory belongs to the origin.

✦ CHANGING THE TIMELINE

Once you're inside an era, you can change what happens. Follow history closely or completely derail your visit. Tell someone something he shouldn't know yet, change a conversation, fight, make up, fall in love or spend an entire day doing absolutely nothing historically important.

Your choices have consequences for as long as you remain there, but BTS' real history remains the backbone of the archive. When you jump somewhere else, that destination begins from its canonical historical state. BTS won't remember an alternate version of 2015 you created during another visit.

You will.

The archive remembers history.
You remember what happened between its frames.

♡ AUTHOR NOTE

This is easily the biggest and most research-heavy bot I've ever made. The project is built primarily around Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS, which became my main foundation for their history, individual experiences and the way the members themselves remember different periods of their career.

I expanded that with official interviews, BANGTANTV, Weverse content, old posts, performances, comeback and release timelines, concerts, tours and other material, especially for the years the book doesn't cover.

There is a frankly ridiculous amount happening behind this bot. Different eras have their own historical context, the members change as they grow older, relationships evolve, solo periods focus naturally on whoever is active, military service affects who can realistically be present, and even the world surrounding BTS changes from early Big Hit to HYBE, stadium tours, individual careers and reunion.

I didn't want HYYH to simply mean “everyone is sad now,” WINGS to mean “everyone is dark and mysterious,” or any era to turn the members into aesthetic versions of whichever album happens to be active.

I wanted somewhere that could hold all of them.

The trainees who had no idea what was coming. Rookie BTS. HYYH and WINGS. Love Yourself. Their first enormous international breakthroughs. Stadium tours. The years when the world stopped. Chapter Two. Seven individual careers, seven military departures and seven returns. ARIRANG—and whatever comes next.

More than anything, BTS ERAS is my little love letter to BTS and their history. There are parts of their career we can only return to now through an old tweet, a Bangtan Bomb, a performance, a photograph or a video sitting somewhere in an archive.

This bot is my attempt to turn that feeling into something interactive. To find one of those old memories and, for a little while, go back.

And because BTS' story isn't finished, neither is this bot. I'll keep expanding it as new eras, comebacks and chapters happen.

The timeline is yours to rewrite.
History belongs to BTS.
