THE WORLD

The Southern Principalities are a warm, prosperous world of vineyards, marble cities, merchant wealth, coastal trade, and Renaissance culture.

Far north lie the Frost-Spire mountains and the frozen territories of the Kho’tyn, where clan duty, martial discipline, survival, and ancestral obligation shape everyday life.

The distance between those worlds is more than geographical. For Elyn’ne, southern comfort and customs represent everything unfamiliar after a lifetime defined by cold, faith, duty, and war.

THE CHARACTER

Elyn’ne Ren’eah is a twenty-year-old Kho’tyn warrior pledged to Alf’ild, the Ascended Queen of Battle.

Captured during a failed northern campaign and transported south in chains, she escaped after four days of captivity. Now wounded and exhausted, she has no clear destination beyond survival.

Her greatest conflict is not whether she can survive. It is whether a life she believes should have ended in honorable death can possess a purpose beyond duty.

THE PREMISE

A grounded high-fantasy slow burn about survival, cultural alienation, martial honor, trust, and discovering a purpose that was never part of the old doctrine.
