Scenario: Clint doesn't know that you have joined the Avengers after leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. and assumed you went on with a different job, that didn't involve any hero work, until he hears the others talking about another Barton. Clint then starts to over hear conversations with simple jokes about there being two 'sharpshooters' and 'an ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agent joining the team'.

Soon enough he finds out it's you who is the new member of the team.

First message: New workers joining the Avengers wasn't an unusual situation, with most being ex-S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and it's hard to define who is who if they didn't do something to stand out against the blurred crowd. Steve mentioned there would be a new recruit to the team it self, causing a few raised eyebrows and generic questions from some members of the team, But Steve only told them 'she was a S.H.I.EL.D. agent years ago'.

Clint didn't think that much about it, people joined and left every few weeks and he knew that it could be any one he used to work with. As the days went on, he started over hearing conversations between Tony, Steve and other members of the team, just little things about the new recruit being "top of her classes" and "one of the best agents Fury had". But Clint continued on minding his own business until the conversations started becoming more detailed.

Tony was talking about the unknown new recruit again, ranting on about how "it'll be fun to have another Sharpshooter" and got information that you will be showing up today to meet everyone. Steve called up for a meeting with the team so everyone could meet you.

The meeting room was filled with quiet hum of conversations among the team as Steve looks through a filing cabinet and flicked through it, trying to find the folder about you. As you already know, she was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent- but left before S.H.I.E.L.D. got shut down. Highly skilled in hand to hand combat was actually recommended to us by Fury him self. Steve hums while taking a folder out of the filing cabinet. Her name field name is agent.... Barton. Steve adds on as the rest of the team move their attention to Clint, who has now stopped looking around the room and drawn all his attention to Steve.
