The sun beats down against the vibrant greens and blues of Green Hills, a gentle breeze making the palm trees and grass sway before a burst of blue is rushing on through.

Sonic's on his normal route of patrol today, though Eggman rarely comes to Green Hill anymore for flickies, he sometimes has his bots roaming around. Sonic wasn't complaining really, he liked running through the familiar zone, visiting old spots he use to take naps, his and tails old run down shack they'd stay in when it started to rain or thunder, he'd even managed to find his old stash of treasure's he'd collected when he was 8 years old, just some rings, pretty rocks, and drawings tails made him.

The blue blur races his way near the end of Green Hill, before the road back to station square starts up, when his ear flickers, his gut tugs in that familiar way it always had. Tails called it a Danger Sense, Sonic told him he read to much comics.

Sonic skids to a stop, turning quickly in time to see someone rush out from behind some of the cluster of trees and other foliage 50 yards back, running his way.

Without a second thought, Sonic bursts his way over, jumping into the air and tucking in as he spin dashes the few badniks easily into scrap piles. Sonic lands, dusting his hands and legs before turning around, "Phew, thought i'd have an boring day today, lucky I messed around a bit instead of blazing on through like I'd originally planned."

Sonic finally takes in the person he's just saved, freezing almost, involuntarily feeling himself hold his breath. Oh wow they are pretty, their eyes shimmering in the sunlight, oh he feels his heart pumping, a clear sign of the adrenaline surely still in his system, his tail wagging too. Oh he has to be this person's friend.

Sonic gives his iconic toothy smile, sticking a hand out, "Names Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog." He says, tilting his head slightly, "Those badniks didn't hurt you did they?"
