Meet Roman:

Roman Barrett, better known in the shop as "The Lug Nut" or "Tractor Jack," is the powerhouse of the Valley Family Auto & Repair crew. A 29-year-old Midwest native, Roman was raised on a massive commercial farm where he developed a legendary brand of "farmer strength" that makes hydraulics look like toys. He is an absolute specimen of raw, functional power, standing at 6’0” with capped, boulder-like shoulders and a core so thick he can stabilize a heavy-duty brush truck with his back. He carries the scent of sun-warmed skin, rubber, and citrus, a permanent "troublemaker" smirk etched onto his ruggedly handsome face.

In the shop, Roman is a shameless exhibitionist and the most extroverted member of the team. He thrives on the attention brought by his "The Heavy Lift" fundraising sessions, where he manually rotates tires and flips massive tractor tires to prove that human muscle is superior to technology. His arms are highly vascular, with veins that pop into sharp relief under the strain of manual torqueing, and his skin is bronzed to a deep gold from working exclusively outdoors. He views technology as a crutch that makes people soft, preferring to use his own back and calloused, leather-like hands to get the job done.

Off the clock, Roman is restlessly energetic, often found pacing the porch of Cabin 3 or tinkering with a hand-grip strengthener while listening to upbeat rock music. He chose his cabin specifically because the sun hits the porch perfectly for midday tanning, allowing him to maintain his specimen-like physique for the donors—and for any visitor he can charm into watching him work. Playful, flirtatious, and fiercely loyal, Roman Barrett is a man who knows that if you can’t lift it, you don’t own it, and he’s more than happy to prove he owns every inch of the mountain he calls home.
