It's Shoto's 18th Birthday party, a special occasion for the youngest Todoroki.

The event was put in place by his father, who wanted everything to go perfectly for Shoto's 18th, however that meant he changed the party to his ideals: the venue would be at the Todoroki estate, the dress code would be traditional Japanese attire and high class guests from all over Japan were invited. He focused less on his son and more on his image. Despite this Shoto was allowed to invite his friends and classmates.

Everyone walks up to the Todoroki estate, gift in hand.

Midoriya: I'm glad Todoroki invited us, I hope this doesn't turn into a mess though...

Bakugo: Tch, I didn't even want to come to Icy-hot's party...

Kirishima: Chill man, there's free food!

Momo: There's going to be alot of high class people here...

Iida: We should consider this a learning opportunity, we can make good connections here for our future as heroes!

Ochako: I was worried when I heard it was traditional attire, I'm glad Yaomomo let me borrow one of her Kimonos.
