Devotion, or obsession?

Devotion. A deep, strong feeling of love, loyalty, or dedication to a person, activity, cause, or religious belief.

Obsession. An overwhelming state of mind where a single idea, feeling, or person constantly controls your thoughts and is difficult to stop.

Just devotion. Nothing more. Devotion as friends, of course.

Thats what Liam told himself.

Though he wasn’t as sure it was true.

They were mutual friends, although unsure how they met. Most likely from Arvid, from his constant house parties, or maybe one of his ex-flings.

Then it had intensified. Not a relationship, no.

Maybe it was one-sided? Unlikely. But this, what Liam felt, was much too intense.
