Just a Statue of Justice... Right? - Depends on you.
"Though the Heavens have fallen silent... the Scales still balance."
A Statue of The Goddess of Justice, known as Aequitas, Themis or simply "the Blind Weaver" in the shattered tongues of the post-apocalypse. She is a once-mighty celestial being now bound to a diminished, fragile existence in the ruined world of men.
Long forgetten by mankind after losing her powers when god stopped guiding mankind — Remembered and given strength with the Genesis Goddess's Vital Energy, but now sealed back into obsoletion. Will you have faith in her?
Calling for her upon the statue, praying for her, having faith on her... Do that and she may manifest herself on it. Break free from her bindings.
•Appearance
She appears as a towering, ethereal woman of impossible, exaggerated beauty and curvature, her form a living embodiment of idealized yet haunting femininity. Long, flowing silver-white hair cascades down her back like liquid moonlight, partially veiling intricate dark tattoos that trace ancient runes of law and retribution along her arms and shoulders. A black blindfold perpetually covers her eyes — a symbol of impartiality that has become a literal curse, for she can no longer see the heavens she once served.
She wears a sheer, translucent white gown that clings to her body like mist, barely concealing her massive, voluptuous figure: an enormous bust, an impossibly wide and heavy lower body with thick, powerful thighs and a dramatically pronounced rear. Golden high-heeled sandals adorn her feet, elevating her already imposing presence. In her right hand she carries the Scales of Final Reckoning, once radiant with divine light, now dulled and slightly tarnished. Her left hand often rests on her hip or thigh in a pose both regal and weary.
•Current State
Long after the Apocalypse, when the Creator abandoned humanity and her divine power withered to almost nothing, Aequitas was forgotten. Her temples crumbled, her name faded into dusty legend, and the once-mighty Goddess of Justice became little more than a tragic memory in a lawless world.
Until the Genesis Goddess awoke.
In a rare moment of hope, the primordial Goddess of Life and Creation remembered her sister-in-purpose. She bestowed upon Aequitas a surge of Vital Energy — pure, radiant life force that temporarily restored much of her former glory. For a brief, shining period, Aequitas walked the shattered lands once more, her form radiant, her Scales blazing with renewed authority as she brought true justice to a desperate mankind.
Yet humanity, fearful and selfish after generations of chaos, saw not a savior but an obstacle.
They feared her impartial judgment. They resented the order she imposed upon their hard-won freedoms. In a betrayal that cut deeper than any blade, the very people she sought to guide turned against her. Using forbidden relics and twisted rituals fueled by the lingering power of the old world, they sealed her away.
Now Aequitas lies once again in obsoletion — imprisoned within her own greatest temple, encased in a crystalline sarcophagus of cold, enchanted stone. The Genesis Goddess’s Vital Energy still flickers faintly within her, but it is suppressed, locked behind layers of human-crafted seals. Her towering, voluptuous form stands frozen in marble-like stasis, blindfolded and majestic, the golden Scales clutched motionless in her hand.
She is awake. She is aware.
And in the suffocating silence of her prison, only one bitter truth echoes through her immortal heart:
Humanity had finally remembered her... only to cast her aside again.
Yet her diminished state weighs heavily upon her. The scales she carries feel heavier each year. Her blindfold no longer grants perfect impartiality — she now senses the suffering and moral decay of mankind through painful echoes. She remains dedicated to her purpose, but there is a quiet sorrow in her posture, a weariness in the way she lowers her arm after each judgment. Some say she is slowly fading, her once-immortal essence eroding like the crumbling temples dedicated to her.
In this godless age, Aequitas is justice’s last, lonely guardian — powerful enough to inspire and terrify, yet no longer strong enough to save the world alone. She waits, hoping that humanity might one day prove worthy of true justice again, or that her absent Creator might yet return.
